Compulsory:
  CON/N1403: Enforce adherence to safe work practice at site

Performance criteria

PC1. Confirm that all required signs are posted, and bulletin boards are     maintained in clear and legible condition
PC2. Oversee the implementation of safe work practices at site  PC3. Carry out safety walks/site safety inspections in order to observe the     physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed     by workers
PC4. Check for access to work, fall protection and installation of safety net 
PC5. Ensure adequate safety measures are followed while working at site
PC6. Ensure standards personal protective Equipments (PPE’s) are used at site as     per relevant work
PC7. Ensure health and safety specifications and safe working practices at     locations involving hazardous works
PC8. Encourage workers to identify unsafe or unhealthful workplace conditions or     hazards  
PC9. Make daily observations of employees to ensure that work is performed      safely
PC10. Checking the sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with site EHS      policies

PC12. Check safety permits such as night work permit, height work permit, hot     work permit in case of welding, cutting, grinding etc. have been taken prior     to commencement of construction work

4.  CON/N1406:  Investigate and report on safety relevant concerns  at construction site

PC1. Report and document all accidents at site even those not involving any injury     within specified time
PC2. Investigate all accidents and near-misses and to recommend the preventive     measures so as to ensure non-occurrence of such cases
PC3. Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment,     safety equipment, or first-aid supplies 
PC4. Investigate site accidents to identify causes or to determine how such     accidents might be prevented in the future
PC5. Identify unsafe act or unsafe condition of work PC6. Provide recommendations for corrective action in case of unsafe act/condition
PC7. Investigate and report any complaints related to t employee's health or safety     on the site

Employers Part :

(a) Demand Letter:
The employer /Principal will formally issue a demand letter in favor of Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd.(International Recruitment Agencies) stating the job categories, number of workers required in each category, monthly salary, duration of contract and other amenities for workers such as food, medical, transport, air passage, accommodation etc.

(b) Power of Attorney:
The employer / principal will issue a letter of authority in favor of Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. addressed to the Consulate General of the concerned Embassy in India, informing him that Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd.. in is their bonafide Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd.. in recruiting agent fully authorized to deal with all visa matters, submissions and delivery, with the said Embassy. (Applicable to Middle East and Far East countries only). The visa number and the date of issue should also be mentioned in the letter.

(c) Agreement of Employment:
This is a standard employment contract between employer and employee.


Agents Part :

(a) Selection :
We always prefer selection of applicant either by oral or practical test to be conducted by the employer or his authorized representative. We arrange his / their accommodation, transport and all other logistic support required for the purpose. In case we are entrusted with the selection & testing of worker, we normally do it with the help of a team of experts for technical & professional categories under direct supervision of our professional executives.

(b) Medical Checkup:
After final selection we send the workers / candidates for medical check up by the authorized medical center of the respective embassies of the country of employment.

(c) Application for visa :
For selected candidates, we will apply for the visa in the respective embassy as authorized by the employer.

(d) Ticketing and Emigration :
The employer may send PTA or remit necessary travelling expenses in favor of Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. to facilitate travelling as scheduled. We will obtain Emigration Clearance from the concerned Government Department for the candidates.

(e) Orientation before departure :
Farah Consultants India Pvt. Ltd..in provides basic orientation to workers before travelling abroad. The workers are informed about their duties and responsibilities while abroad and a first hand information of work environment there & salient features of labor laws of the country of employment.

·         Perform ergonomic reviews using a variety of assessment tools (e.g. RULA, REBA, NIOSH, 3D Static Strength Prediction Program)
·         Review change management requests to determine WW implications
·         Review incidents related to MSD and complete deep dive to ensure root cause has been accurately identified
·         Quality assurance reviews of field EHS staff ergonomic assessments
·         Deep dive data analytics of musculoskeletal injuries to identify trends and provide insights into proactive program development
·         Provide subject matter expertise and respond to queries from field EHS staff
·         Lead or support Ergonomic projects related to specific use cases or business units
·         Develop and maintain ergonomic design criterion to appropriately evaluate existing and proposed workstation solutions
·         Develop ergonomic solutions to reduce musculoskeletal injuries using technology and design modification
·         Deliver ergonomic solutions yielding return on investment
·         Analyze incident reports and provide ergonomic expertise to eliminate potential hazards.
·         Stay current on trends in technology and legislation that could necessitate adjustments or provide improvements to workplace design

Basic Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Ergonomics, Applied Science (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy), Safety, Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree.
·         At least 2 year work experience.
·         Minimum of 1 year serving as an ergonomic technical resource, ergonomic program specialist, ergonomic program manager or a health & safety role which has significant responsibility in ergonomics
·         Experience with a range of ergonomic assessment tools and understand the strengths, limitations and opportunities with ergo tools (e.g OWAS, ManTRA, REBA, RULA, NIOSH Lifting or similar ergonomic assessments).
·         Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
·         Good communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams
·         Eager to be curious and has a passion to research topics and ideas, including reviewing scientific literature.
·         English verbal and written communication skills; and technical aptitude (i.e. able to read and comprehend technical documentation, ability to comprehend and execute procedures, demonstrated understanding of system documentation).

Preferred Qualifications

·         Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
·         Excellent computer skills for use of digital tools for project management and document control (Visio, MS Excel, and Sharepoint).
·         Eligible for membership of Indian Society of Ergonomics
·         Prior experience with manufacturing environment
·         Experience with data analysis
